View the Saluda Grade Trail Feasibility Study Presentation

This month, the Saluda Grade Trails Conservancy partners were joined by TPD, Inc. to present findings from an in-depth, year-long engineering and economic impact study on the proposed Saluda Grade Trail. These presentations in North and South Carolina addressed: 

• Findings from public input, including community goals and concerns
• Rail to trail development process
• Existing condition of the trail corridor and bridges
• Trail design and safety recommendations from the engineering team
• Projected regional economic impact

More than 400 guests attended the meetings in Columbus, NC and Inman, SC. This volume of public engagement will help ensure the Saluda Grade Trail is the best amenity it can be for our communities!
